My mom gave me this dress several years ago, but it was too big. I finally got around to taking it in so that it fits. I'm not sure if I like the style anymore like I did 3 years ago. What do you think? Should I keep it or pass it on?
Well done. You did a great job. Makes you really think twice about clothes that are given to you and how you could improve them to actually be something that you would wear.
It's so fun when we receive a gift like this. You did a wonderful job altering the dress to fit nicely. However, I would have to say I think the clothes you make are way cuter. I'd probably vote to pass it on, but I seem to be in the minority!
Your mom will smile when you wear it for her, that is if she still remembers the dress and giving it to you. I think it's a keeper, not because of your mom but because you can never have too many well fitting dresses.
It certainly looks way better than it did! Wether you should keep it or not is up to you. Do you like it? Does it suit you? Is it comfortable? Does the colour look good on you?
I just found your blog. You have cute ideas. For the dress, I would ask how you feel in it. If it doesn't make you feel good don't keep it, although you did a good job with it.
I love the after photos. You did a great job. I'm thinking you should keep it.
