I did some Christmas sewing for my daughter (doll clothes) but I really want to do more sewing for myself this year. We'll see, my daughter is more fun to sew for. :)
That is also one of my goals for this year--to sew more for myself. Ever since I took up knitting, I really haven't sewn much. I need to figure out how to do both. :)
Thanks, Lori. I added the extra pocket for my cell phone. I like having it handy. It's too late now, but I wish I had added a pocket under the front flap as well. Yes, I am enjoying the pattern. My 49-yr-old eyes have a hard time reading the small print of the illustrations, especially on the blue diagrams, but other than that the pattern has been great.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful bag as well as your thoughts about what you would have done differently now that you look at your finished product. I am sewing a coat (living in AZ and it being 70+ degrees right now it seems a little silly) and it's taking me a LOOOOOOOONG time, just because I don't have the option of a redo if something it's right.
