Tofutsies Socks Finished!

Today on the drive to church I grafted the toes of the second Tofutsies sock, finishing the pair! The yarn for these socks was given to me on my last birthday from Jessica. I love this yarn! It is so soft. I admit that at times it was a pain to knit with because it tends to split somewhat, but really it wasn't too bad once I got used to working with it. I'm going to love wearing these socks!

  1. Those are so pretty! I have some Tofutsies sock yarn, but mine doesn't have the colorway named, it just has an item number (#733). If my yarn isn't exactly the same as yours, it is VERY similar! I can't wait to make mine up, they are going to be a Christmas present for my Mother-in-law.

  2. I just did a quick little search online, and came across this site> and my yarn is the same as yours! =) I'm really glad to see that yours didn't pool, because when I bought it the lady at the yarn store said that some of the Tofutsies yarn does pool.

  3. Your socks turned out great! I haven't been brave enough to tackle socks yet. I'm still plugging away on a couple of scarfs.

  4. These turned out so pretty! I have a ball of this and haven't started yet. I had been wondering how it was to knit.

  5. Hi there - great socks! I'm in the process of making a pair from the same book (slipped stitch rib). I like the book a lot.

I saw your post on the homeschool group on Ravelry and decided to come see your blog since we have a lot in common - 7 children, Christian, homeschooling, red hair, sewing, etc.
