I love turning a piece of fabric into something usable. That feeling you get when you finish a project and are able to use is just amazing. That amazement will never go away as long as you are always learning and expanding on your skills!
ReplyDeletePerfectly worded! I was caught up in the mass-production world at one time and sewed and crafted until I hated both and wouldn't touch either one for years. Then I started sewing costumes and fell in love again. Very fulfilling to make a single amazing creation at a time!
ReplyDeleteHappy to find your blog. Darling little redhead girl and a cute brother too. I live in Oklahoma too. Wonder what part you are in. Maybe I will read it here somewhere.
ReplyDeleteAs I've gotten older I notice that I need more and more light if I am going to work on sewing or needlework projects at night. I would love to win the Ott Light!
ReplyDeleteI really love reading your blog! So much information! I've added you to my blogroll at sewmuchstyle.com
