I'm sorry if I read this incorrectly over at the Ottobre Design Yahoo group - but didn't you say that you weren't that great at topstitching? I must be wrong because that's the best topstitching I think I've ever seen. WOW! You have made a fabulous dress. I'd be so proud of myself if I made something like that! Thanks for sharing!
I'd really love to try this dress as well...but I'm afraid to with all the pieces--and then my luck will be that I put all that time and effort into it and it doesn't fit DD right or that she won't wear it! You did a great job and your top stitching looks PERFECT! I think sometimes we are our own worst critic!
Hello, I'm a complete stranger that stumbled upon your blog. I've really enjoyed looking through your sewing projects! I'm a novas sewer and love to craft and create "stuff" as well. Your work inspires me to find a sewing class!! Thanks so much and I hope you don't mind if I link to your page from my Blog.
Thanks again for posting! Katrina Olenik in Caldwell Idaho :)
Wow, awesome topstitching. I love the jeans and stuff in the new Ottobre (for the boys) but I am afraid to try the topstitching!!! Did you use a double needle or do you have a very steady hand? :o)
