Vintage Sheet Quilts Coming Soon

I just received my vintage sheet fat quarters from a swap I recently participated in at Rosey Little Things. Aren't they pretty??

Today I cut them all into 6 inch squares and combined them with the prints I already had....

Mom and I are going to combine our stashes of vintage sheet prints and make quilts! Emily needs a twin sized quilt for her bed, and I plan to make some baby quilts to share in my etsy shop.

Inspiration comes from these lovely quilts HERE. Eye candy!!!

Blessings,
Jessica

  3. I love those. I may have to make a quilt out of some vintage sheets and pillow cases. I love how they feel. It doesn't seem like they make sheets the way they used to. Maybe I just need to run them the wash a zillion times.

  7. The combination of those fabrics is lovely. I bet it will become a wonderful quilt!

(And I think I should take a better look when in a thrift shop. Because, like above posters, I don't find such pretty sheets either)

I just organized my sewing closet and found all my vintage sheets and realized I could do two quilts with it! I even have a mint condition twin fitted sheet to complete the ensemble for my baby girl when she gets big enough! Seeing yours makes me want to cut mine out tonight!!!

    Thanks for sharing!

  10. You have such a lovely blog! I really enjoy reading what you're working on. I'm just about to start my first baby quilt for my son and was wondering how long it takes you to do yours? I saw the post about selling at the crafts fair and it seemed like you have so many quilts! I just hope I can get mine out quickly like you! What kind of sewing routine do you have?
